Facing the Dragon: about this blog

A Dutchman finds himself in China… or rather: in Hong Kong - to alleviate the culture shock somewhat I am taking it one step at a time, using a former European colony as a stepping stone into the mouth of the Dragon.

Whatever I encounter, I intend to share on this blog: the madness of everyday life as well as my attempts to understand the country that lies upstream the river.

As an MBA student at Hong Kong University these encounters and attempts at comprehension will be structured by my curriculum to a large extent, but this blog is as much a means to get away from that as a chance to share what studying “Chinese Business” brings.
